Responsibilities

  • You will assist in the recruitment process by posting job advertisements. You will also be responsible for screening resumes and scheduling interviews
  • We expect you to maintain employee records and files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Your HR Assistant's responsibilities and duties include updating personal information, employment history, and training records
  • You shall help with onboarding new hires by preparing the necessary paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and coordinating required training
  • You will be responsible for handling employee benefits administration, including processing enrollments, answering inquiries, and resolving any issues
  • We expect you to assist in payroll preparation by collecting and verifying timesheets, calculating overtime pay, and ensuring accurate deductions
  • Your duty as an HR Assistant includes addressing basic employee questions and concerns and escalating employee issues to higher-level HR professionals as needed
  • You will manage attendance records, paid time off, and leave requests, and based on that, you will be preparing payroll-related documentation
  • You shall support HR projects and initiatives by conducting research, preparing reports, and assisting in the implementation of new policies or procedures
  • You will provide general HR administrative support, such as maintaining HR files, organizing company events, and managing office supplies for the department
  • It will be your duty as an HR Assistant to input and maintain HR data in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software. You will perform a basic analysis of HR data and generate reports
  • We expect you to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations by staying updated on changes, reviewing policies, and facilitating training on workplace regulations

Requirements

  • You must have robust communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
  • We expect you to be highly organized and detail-oriented in order to accurately maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
  • You should have strong problem-solving abilities to address employee inquiries, resolve conflicts, and provide timely and effective solutions
  • Your ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with utmost discretion is crucial for this role
  • We require you to be proficient in using HR software and other relevant tools to efficiently manage employee data, generate reports, and streamline HR processes
  • You must demonstrate a good understanding of employment laws to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks
  • We value your ability to work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders to support recruitment efforts, onboarding processes, and employee development initiatives

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A bachelor's degree in the field of Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a similar discipline
  • Professional courses or certifications from organizations like the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)
