Role

Human Resource (HR) Manager is in-charge of ensuring a smooth and sound hiring and onboarding process. HR Manager supports the development of an employer brand, increased employee engagement, and strategic talent resource planning. They also connect executives with employees.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and putting into practice HR initiatives and strategies that are in line with the broader business plan
  • Assess talent needs, recruiting requirements, and succession planning
  • Handle talent acquisition process: sourcing, screening, interviews, onboarding
  • Understand skill and capabilities required to fill various positions in the organization
  • Preserving a simple onboarding procedure
  • Settling disputes through effective, qualified mediation
  • Handling disciplinary, termination, and investigation processes at work
  • Creating and implementing orientation and training programmes to get employees ready for assignments
  • Enforce management guidelines by creating, revising, and advocating human resource policies and procedures
  • Keep track of vacation information, employee benefits, and process claims
  • Ensuring legal compliance throughout human resource management

Requirements

  • 3+ Years experience as an HR Manager or other HR Executive role
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and legislations as well as HR systems and databases
  • Experience in using Microsoft applications such as MS Word, MS Office and Outlook
  • Working knowledge of Application Tracking System (ATS) like Talentlyft, Greenhouse, etc
  • Working knowledge of HRMS like SumHR, PeopleHR, etc

Soft Skills

  • Effective listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with employees
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good leadership and time management skills

Bonus

  • PHR/SPHR certification

Promotion Stage

Senior HR Manager, HR Director, VP of HR, Chief People Officer

Salary Range (in USD)

$52,000 - $100,000 per year

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • MA in HRM is preferred
