iOS Developer Job Description
iOS Developer job description will consist of the role, responsibilities, qualifications and technical or soft skills required
Role
An iOS Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications aimed at a range of iOS devices, including mobile phones and tablet computers. The creation of advanced iOS applications for the newest Apple mobile devices is a main priority for any iOS Developer.
Responsibilities
- Writing clean and efficient codes as well as designing and developing advanced iOS applications
- Identify, design, and release new features, and work with cross-functional teams on recommended enhancements
- Ensuring that the application meets all requirements for quality and performance
- Application troubleshooting and bug fixes to make sure the codes are secure and clean
- Find, consider, and use new technologies consistently to increase development effectiveness
Requirements
- Strong portfolio of published one or more applications on the App Store
- Proven working experience as a software developer or app developer
- Deep proficiency in iOS development and experience in Objective- C, Swift, Cocoa Touch
- Familiarity with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Graphics, Core Text, and Core Animation
- Experience with code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial and SVN
- Solid understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
Soft Skills
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- A quick learner
Bonus
- Having a knowledge of SCRUM is a plus
- Having a good understanding and knowledge about the UI-UX of the web and mobile environment

$62,000 - $200,000 per yearQualifications
