Project Manager Job Description

Role
Project managers are responsible for end-to-end management of any project within budget and a deadline. Keeping in view the mission and vision of the company, project managers plan and allocate resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed. Project managers are required across various industries like construction, IT, HR, and marketing.
Responsibilities
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
- Defining the project’s schedule, budget, and scope while balancing this with timely and regular value deliveries
- Delivering Agile projects that offer outstanding business value to the users
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Provide project updates consistently to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
Requirements
- Proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector
- Experience in tracking, driving, and leading projects of all scales
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and project management tools like Zoho, Trello, and Jira
