Responsibilities

• Designing and communicating the overall architecture of the platform
• Collaborating with the business to understand the requirement and convey clear expectations on the interfaces
• Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration
• Design the CI/CD pipelines and oversee the DevOps, and triage the bugs reported by the quality assurance
• Ask customers targeted questions and connect regularly with developers to quickly understand the root of the problem
• Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams
• Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
• Prepare accurate and timely reports
• Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
• Ensure the implementation of best practices coding & design via regular code reviews

Requirements

• Minimum of X years of experience in software engineering
• Minimum of X years in a leadership/management role
• Deep technical understanding of the application and cloud-native deployment and design, including middleware options, protocols, API gateways, and platform infrastructures
• Good understanding of microservice-based architecture and mobile application interfaces (MERN/ MEAN)
• Experience with networking and networking technologies eg: (Firewalls, load balancers, and application gateways)
• Knowledge of cloud security controls including encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, and application firewalls
• Experience with implementing and operating mission-critical technology components with HA, DR, and Business Continuity capabilities
• Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
• Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software
